Winter sun-seekers 'should visit Morocco'
Morocco has been recommended as a good option for Britons who want to enjoy sunshine this winter.
The Sun newspaper stated that the temptation to travel to a sunny destination at this time of year was strong because of plummeting temperatures in the UK.
As a result, the publication said that British holidaymakers were increasingly choosing to visit countries in North Africa, as it was still hot in winter.
Morocco was highlighted as a particular favourite among leisure travellers, since it offered visitors the chance to enjoy attractions such as good beaches and warm weather.
The newspaper added that it was an affordable location that gave tourists "plenty to see and do".
This comes after TravelMole cited figures from the Moroccan National Tourist Office which showed that the number of British visitors to the country this year was almost a third higher than in 2006.
