UAE 'is good for expats'
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been highlighted as one of the best destinations for expatriates to live.
According to research by HSBC, the country offers a number of suitable attractions for foreign nationals, such as good living standards and high salaries.
The financial provider that expats who live in the UAE are likely to find their new lifestyle is far more luxurious than what they were used to at home.
Commenting on the findings, Paul Say of HSBC said they offer a "fascinating" view at how foreigners rate their new lives overseas.
He observed: "Getting this kind of insight into their everyday lives is helping to shed more light on a highly diverse and far reaching range of individuals."
Mr Say added that that the expat community is proving to very important to various economies across the world.
Last month, Shelter Offshore suggested that people who want to relocate to the UAE set up home in Ras al-Khaimah.
According to the website, the region could be a good alternative to places such as Dubai, partly because it is far less crowded.
