Turkey investment market 'healthy'
Foreign investors are still intrigued by the Turkish market and want to invest in the country, according to the latest report released by Deloitte.
On its Turkish Mergers and Acquisitions review, based on the first half of the year, the country is still a healthy place to invest, reports Today's Zaman.
Reasons for this confidence shown by investors included high growth levels, economic stability and low inflation, the report contended.
Additionally, investors come from a diverse number of places, it said.
"We have seen investors from Europe to the gulf, from the US to the Turkic republics, making acquisitions in Turkey," the report stated.
From 66 transactions in the opening half of the year, 54 had a total deal value worth $9.6 billion, the publication added.
Moreover, 80% of investors that have made inroads into the Turkish market in the last three years said that they were happy with their choice.
