Strong performance for Argentina property expected
The Argentinean property investment sector has been predicted to experience a boom in the coming years.
Scott Mathis of private equity company DPEC Partners told NuWire Investor that prospects across South America are likely to improve in the coming years, with Argentina set to be one of the main beneficiaries.
Homes in the country are available at a "fraction" of the cost of those in the US and Europe at present, he said, adding: "Buenos Aires is the most popular but Mendoza is gaining recognition for its wonderful wine route and stature as making the best Malbec in the world."
A range of factors were highlighted by the news source as making the country attractive to tourists and investors alike, with architecture, nightlife, galleries and the fact that English is widely spoken among them.
Last month, figures revealed a 0.1% growth in Argentina's gross domestic product for August, despite expectations of a decline.
