Spain 'will remain popular with Britons'
Spain will always be a popular choice for British property buyers, according to industry analysts.
The Spanish Property Owners Guild said the European country currently has a "massive" range of houses on the market.
Paul Bradley, spokesperson for the organisation, added that Spain also has a much cheaper cost of living than the UK.
This, he said, means it likely to remain an appealing option for second home buyers from the UK for some time.
He commented: "Spain will always continue to be popular - it is still a wonderful life."
Mr Bradley added tourist numbers in the country have gone up by 7% in the last 12 months.
According to the Association of International Property Professionals, Spain is still the most popular foreign market among British property buyers.
The country was said to account for more than a quarter of the overseas property market in 2007.
