Romanian hotel chain 'looking to expand'

A hotel chain with close ties to the local market in Romania has stated that it aims to double the number of people it employs by the year 2011.

Human resources manager at the Continental Hotels company Iulia Dinu stated that the firm has got ambitious plans for further growth over the coming years, something that demonstrates its property investment drive, reports zf.ro.

The firm also has plans to open a number of new venues in Bucharest, Brasov and Sibiu, among others.

Employee levels are set to rise in proportion with the number of properties being built, according to Iulia Dinu.

"Given the company's ambitious development plan for the next four years, the number of employees will rise proportionately to the volume of our activity," the official commented.

An average of 70 employees are set to be hired at the venue in Sibiu, where the establishment will be called Forum.

The firm says that it offers a good quality service and 4-star hotels at cheap prices.
