Retirees 'will find many opportunities in Spain'
Retirees will find that Spain has boundless opportunities for property investment, according to new comments from Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Banking (GRGB).
The bank states that the country offers specific investment chances for expatriates as the lifestyle there is calm and relaxed.
Head of media relations at Barclays GRCB Laura Vergani claims that the climate is also welcoming to those who want to spend their final years in a number of Spanish resorts.
"Maybe there's quite a few that like the climate, like the lifestyle and want to enjoy their retirement in a different country," she comments.
She adds that the area offers lots of varying opportunities for potential investors and that each investor will have their specific targets.
According to Office of National Statistics figures, Australia is the most popular destination for emigrants from Britain.
Earlier this week, the bank also stated that the long-term prospects of the market are positive, despite claims that the stability of the market is wavering.
