Portugal is a stunning country that will delight visitors, one investment publication has claimed.
In addition to the picturesque nature of the country itself and the idyllic windmills, vineyards and castles dotted about its landscape, it is a land where a great many bargains can be found for those with a keen eye, said the Jewish Export.

This could well appeal to those investors who are looking for a holiday home they can use as an escape from the gloomy UK weather.
The publication also stated that the weather is another great reason for people to spend some time in Portugal, with mild winters and gorgeous springs and summers making it an ideal year-round location.
According to the Portuguese tourist board, the country is also an excellent spot for water sports.
