New UK-France flights announced
A regional airline has announced that it will launch a new service between the UK and France.
Eastern Airways will offer passage between Southampton International Airport and Angers Loire three times a week.
The new flights, which will begin next month, will prove to be good news for both business and leisure travellers, including overseas property investors.
Chris Holliday, chief operating officer at the airline, commented: "It will help strengthen links between the two regions and customers will be able to experience our punctual, personalised, convenient service."
Eastern Airways added that the service would prove to be particularly appealing to people who owned holiday homes in the Loire Valley, as well as expatriates travelling to and from the south of England.
This follows the news that services from Bristol to Bergerac (Dordogne), Beziers (Languedoc) and Pau (Pyrenees-Atlantiques) will be launched by Ryanair next month.
