New flights to Portugal and Spain announced
Low-cost airline Ryanair is set to improve access to Portugal and Spain for property investors and holidaymakers based on the south coast of England.
The carrier has revealed details of several new routes this week, with Bournemouth Airport preparing to offer flights to Faro and Reus, close to Barcelona, from March 31st.
Ryanair will base a third Boeing 737-800 at Reus Airport, allowing it to provide flights to four European destinations this year.
It has also confirmed a new route between London Luton Airport and the French city of Limoges, which is set to begin on May 3rd.
Airline spokesperson Stephen McNamara commented: "Ryanair continues to offer great new routes so that passengers can beat the recession by flying at Ryanair's guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to exciting destinations all over Europe."
The new route to Faro may be of interest to investors with property in the Algarve, although the Times recently claimed that Porto and areas of northern Portugal are also beginning to attract attention from homebuyers.
