New flights to boost investors in Morocco?

Buy-to-let landlords who have chosen to invest in Moroccan property could receive a boost, as easyJet has announced the addition of new routes to the country.

The budget airline released its latest schedule this week and explained that winter sun is its key focus.

As a result, more flights to the north African country from the UK have been added, with a route between Manchester and Marrakech commencing today (October 29th).

The carrier already offers a service to the destination from London Gatwick and the move comes after an increase in the number of visitors to Morocco was identified by the country's tourism minister.

Buy-to-let property owners may see increased demand, as Mohamed Boussaid was reported by Maghreb Arab Press as stating that a 5% year-on-year rise was seen last month.

The news source added that the period from January to July saw growth of 8%, with tourist levels reaching 5 million.
