New facilities to be built in RAK

The creation of new leisure facilities in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) could be set to boost its investment potential.

A massive development is scheduled to be built in the emirate, which will include residential facilities, a wildlife reserve and recreational outlets such as an outdoor ski slope.

In addition, new motorways will also be built in the region, thereby improving its connectivity with other areas.

As a result, the growing market could become a highly attractive destination for overseas property buyers to consider.

Michel Sakkal, director general of RAK Public Works, commented: "We have a clear vision of how RAK will look in the future with all the developments coming up."

Speaking to the National, he added that humidity in the area is nil, which means people do not need air conditioning even in August.

This comes after the United Arab Emirates was rated eighth in Jet-to-Let magazine's list of this year's top 10 property investment markets.
