TUI, the parent company of Thomson, has said it will almost double the number of tourists visiting the country from 256,000 in 2006 to 517,000 in 2009, creating jobs and foreign income.
The government-agreed scheme could also spark a construction boom along the country's Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines, the Reuters news agency reported.
Michael Frenzel, chief executive of TUI, commented: "This new agreement will allow Morocco to become one of the group's top 10 destinations by 2010."
Thomson, the travel agent subsidiary of TUI, highlights the diverse nature of Morocco as one of its major attractions as it is able to provide both beach holidays and city escapes.
