Morocco praised by property buyer

A foreign property buyer from the UK has spoken positively of his recent investment in Morocco.

Henry Emson, a company director from west London, spent £50,000 on a home in the north African country last year.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said his property in Agadir is an ideal base for regular holidays.

"I wouldn't hesitate in bringing my parents or friends with young children to Agadir," he commented.

"It's a great winter sun destination."

Mr Emson said the region is also an ideal place to own a property because it is easily accessible from the UK, which means rental demand is high.

He added that the value of his home has now gone up since he carried out various renovations, and is now worth £90,000.

This comes after broadcaster Jo Sinnott told Property Wire that investors may be able to get healthy returns in the Moroccan market.
