More relaxation' needed, possibly abroad

Recent research by Manchester Metropolitan University has suggested that more people need relaxation in their lives and could get this by travelling abroad.

The report found that a better balance in hectic lifestyles could be achieved if people had 90 minutes of play time per day, something that could be obtained overseas, reports Homes Worldwide.

Moreover, the study looked at five essential elements that people should participate in, in order to spend 25% of every week relaxing. These include being active with other members of the family and being creative.

It was commissioned by the holiday firm Eurocamp and Ruth Start, UK head of sales and marketing at the firm, stated that having this extra time was very important.

"Spending quality time with our families, embracing the outdoors, learning new creative skills and enjoying play purely for play's sake are all important factors to help us redress the work-life balance," she commented.

The firm also recommended Spain as a place where these factors are more possible, something that may be news for property investors.

In related news, recent findings from Bank of Scotland International suggested that people would most like to relocate to Spain or France.
