More flights to Brazil needed, say experts
Demand for flights to Brazil is increasing at a substantial rate, according to aviation industry figures.
Airbus stated that more than 330 passenger aircraft with a capacity of over 100 will be needed during the next 20 years in order to cope with growing demand.
The organisation said this figure could ultimately be even higher when replacing ageing aircraft is taken into account.
This is a reflection of the South American country's growing popularity with foreign leisure travellers, as well as overseas property investors.
Indeed, Brazil was recently described by NuBricks.com as an "overseas property hotspot" which offers "untapped potential" to investors.
Commenting on its growing appeal, Airbus said: "Brazil being the major economic player in Latin America, air traffic has grown immensely and will do so with even more amplitude over the next 20 years."
The organisation added that the Brazilian market has become highly competitive and dynamic.
