Montenegro to see economic growth
Montenegro's economy has been tipped to experience future growth this year, financial officials have revealed.
According to the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), the country's gross domestic product went up by 7% last year, reports the Montenegro Times.
This has prompted the organisation to forecast further growth, as many businesses are optimistic about the future of its economy.
Indeed, the bank has said 81% of companies in Montenegro are predicting an increase in the volume of activities during 2008, while 90% are planning new investments.
A report by CBCG read: "High growth of economic activity shall partly absorb the increase in aggregate demand."
The optimistic outlook for the economy comes during a period in which the eastern European nation is attracting lots of attention from foreign property buyers.
According to the Foreign Property Buyer website, imminent accessibility improvements are causing some investors to get very "excited" about Montenegro.
