Montenegro 'can be accessed directly'

British property buyers can fly directly to Montenegro and do not have to travel to the country via Croatia, according to Easier.com.

The firm contends that recent reports may have suggested accessibility to the country was hindered by the lack of direct flights, something the organisation states is simply untrue.

According to the body, Austrian Airlines has direct travelling opportunities to Podgorica as well as flights to a number of other areas in Montenegro, boosting ease of visiting.

Easier.com also contends that Podgorica is a good entry point to the rest of the country and holds over 27% of the population. It is the largest city in the Republic of Montenegro.

If visitors wish to enter via another route, this is also possible with flights to surrounding countries such as Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Earlier this week, a property portal was launched with the aim of increasing awareness of the benefits of Montenegro to property investors.
