'Job opportunities' in Malaga
The Costa del Sol should be considered by potential property investors looking to move abroad as it offers good job opportunities, according to the Junta de Andalucia.
Based on figures between March 2004 and June 2007, 29% of the jobs created in Andalucia were in Malaga, the organisation stated, reports Homes Worldwide.
Moreover, 8 from 10 workers are deployed in the service industry, it said, confirming the importance of the tourism sector to the region.
This sector includes jobs such as shop work and cleaning, plus restaurant and bar work, it added.
Homes Worldwide stated that a good knowledge of the Spanish language is imperative for people looking to find work in the country.
It said that the relevant qualifications in industries such as specific trades are also required.
Recent research carried out by Alliance & Leicester International suggested that more people are choosing to live abroad due to the greater quality of life offered.
