Italy recommended to investors
Property investors who are considering a purchase overseas have been advised to look at the Italian market.
According to the BuyAssociation website, the European country is proving to be especially popular with lifestyle buyers.
Southern Italy in particular was highlighted as one emerging hotspot of activity, with places such as Calabria attracting growing levels of attention.
The online portal stated that this region has become an attractive option because it offers a number of different attractions to property buyers.
For example, it said it has good weather, an attractive coastline and strong rental potential, thereby making it suitable for both lifestyle buyers and investors.
Commenting on the market, BuyAssociation remarked: "Italy has stepped away from the cliches and stood up to its detractors to bring a fresh face to the overseas property market."
This comes after the International Property Investment Network said southern Italy will "inevitably" become a leading destination within the next decade.
