Italy 'appeals to tourists all year round'
Established tourist markets such as Italy can be good places to visit at any time of the year, according to an expert.
Property writer Michael Peterson said the European country offered a range of good attractions, such as the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican museums, all year round.
This could prove to be a deciding factor for people considering investing in rental property in Italy.
Mr Peterson described the various tourist locations as "spectacular", adding that they offered culture, history and fine architecture to visitors.
In addition, he said that tourists would be able to stay in high-quality accommodation in Italy.
He commented: "If you choose a villa or a rental home, you can only expect the best in accommodations as well as beautiful hotels with different amenities for your stay."
This follows a recent poll by Saga which found that Italy was the first choice holiday destination among British tourists.
