Investors 'going abroad for the long-term'
New research carried out by Currencies Direct has stated the most important things UK residents look out for when emigrating to countries such as Spain.
The findings stated that most Britons want to move there permanently, rather than just to go to the country occasionally on holiday, reports Homes Worldwide.
In addition, 2 out of 3 people stated that those investing in overseas property do so for year-round living, as opposed to a holiday.
Neil Radcliffe from Currencies Direct said that potential buyers should also consider the financial terms of the move abroad such as currency exchange rates, as this could improve the overall moving experience.
The poll took in the views of 100 people who are to invest in overseas property.
In related news, research from the Association of British Travel Agents recently stated that a large number of tourists will head to Spain this year during the school summer holidays.
