Investors advised to consider Albania
Overseas property buyers who are looking for a good long-term investment have been advised to consider Albania.
The south-eastern European country was described by the Foreign Property Buyer website as a location that offered attractions such as spectacular scenery and good weather.
Prospective property buyers were advised that despite its "chequered" history, Albania had emerged as a stable and democratic country that was hoping to enter the EU.
The portal also stated that since its tourist industry was not large, the country would better suit those looking to invest in the long-term.
Foreign Property Buyer said: "The country is poised for expansion and improvement and remains fairly unspoiled."
The website added that buying a property now could lead to "massive financial gains" in the future.
Earlier this week, Albania was tipped as a potential overseas property hotspot for the year ahead by the Daily Mail.
