France 'a relatively stress-free move'

Britons aiming to relocate to France will find the prospect relatively stress-free, it has been revealed.

Foreign currency expert HiFX created a scientific formula to calculate the level of stress generated by moving into a foreign land, incorporating factors such as language, tax, visa systems, legalities and civic stability.

And traditional favourites France and Spain were among those least likely to cause movers to worry, unlike some locations which were found to cause anxiety.

However, spokesman for the firm Mark Bodega advised anyone planning to make the move overseas to ensure they are well prepared.

"When moving aboard it is vital to investigate your intended destination and take steps to make the process as easy as possible. Think about the move as early as possible and seek professional assistance," said Mr Bodega, the company director.

HiFX handles foreign currency exchanges - last year over £20 billion in exchanges was executed.
