Bulgaria's economy continues to grow
Overseas property investors in Bulgaria are set to benefit from continued economic growth in the country.
According to a report in the Sofia Echo, the country's economy is set to expand by 6.4 per cent before the end of the year.
Citing research by analysts at Industry Watch, the newspaper stated that this level of growth was likely to be sustained throughout 2008.
Meanwhile, Bulgaria's government was predicted to have a higher budget surplus by the end of 2007, with up to 3.7 per cent of its gross domestic product available for use in several areas.
This could be beneficial for property owners and investors in the country, as it could prompt the government to reduce taxes.
The Sofia Echo recently reported that visitor numbers in Bulgaria during the first 9 months of 2007 were 7.4% higher than those recorded last year.
