Bulgaria 'is a cheap market'
Bulgaria is widely regarded as one of the cheapest options for overseas property investors, according to a media report.
The Telegraph stated that the eastern European country was a highly popular destination since it offered a range of attractions at a budget price.
For example, the newspaper highlighted the low cost of reaching the region, since it was serviced by a number of budget airlines.
In addition, it said that Bulgaria's cheap property values were also very attractive to visitors, as many were considered to be affordable to foreign buyers.
The Telegraph commented: "Try to spend more than £100,000 and you are hard-pressed to find anything."
Investors were also told that most of the high-end properties could be found in city locations such as the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
This comes after the Sofia Echo reported that tour operators from Bulgaria believed the country was set to become more popular among holidaymakers from the UK.
