Budget airlines 'offer wider choice to investors'
Investors now have a much wider choice of where they want to buy due to the growth of budget flights, according to experts.
The Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) stated that whereas France, Spain and Florida used to be the only options available, more countries are now of offer.
Paul Owen, chief executive of the AIPP, added that low-cost air travel had changed the way people travel, as other nations had become more familiar and people were confident they could get there.
He commented: "It opens Europe up, which makes it really exciting for people with such a wide choice."
Mr Owen added that there was "no doubt" that many of those who travelled to unfamiliar destinations for their holidays would start to consider buying a property there.
This comes after Cheapflights.co.uk recommended that people planning to invest in a certain place consider the number of flights to their chosen destination, as it had to be easily accessible.
