Britons drawn to property in France
France is still considered a popular market among British property investors, a media outlet has said.
According to the American Chronicle, many parts of the European country have strong investment potential, in particular its main tourist destinations.
This is because some of these areas have relatively low property values and a thriving buy-to-let market, which means investors can snap up a bargain and collect healthy rental yields.
The publication added that France is easy to reach at an affordable price, therefore enhancing its appeal among Britons even further.
"Buying a property, setting up a second home or relocating to France has never been faster and easier," the American Chronicle said.
The media outlet added that Eurostar's new high-speed rail link between London and Paris has also boosted its appeal.
This was launched in November 2007 and has cut travel times between the two cities to just 2 hours and 15 minutes.
