Brazilian investment potential praised by developer
A property developer in Brazil has praised the investment potential of the South American country.
Invest Tur, which is involved in creating real estate in popular tourist areas, stated that Brazil has been largely untapped by foreign property buyers, reports MarketWatch.
Carlos Novis Guimaraes, chairman of the board at the organisation, added that it has a myriad of natural and manmade attractions that have been "vastly underdeveloped".
He commented: "Brazil has an incredible mixture of natural beauty, [pleasant] climate, a welcoming population and a vast number of different cultural attractions."
Mr Guimaraes added that since the country is set to host the football World Cup in 2014, there will be more and more investment in tourism and infrastructure over the next few years.
This comes after north-east Brazil was described as a "hidden gem" by NuWire Investor on the strength of its economy and growing tourist trade.
