Brazil set for property boom
North-east Brazil could be set to experience a property boom within the next few years, a newspaper has predicted.
According to the Times, an international airport in the Natal area is currently being built -a development which should open up the region to consumers across the world.
This has prompted the publication to predict that it will trigger a period of positive growth in the local housing market, as its improved connectivity should boost interest in the region.
Natal is already one of Brazil's most popular hotspots for foreign property investors, which suggests that the addition of new flights to the area should enhance its appeal considerably.
Furthermore, the increased accessibility should lead to greater tourism in the region, which in turn will create extra demand for rental accommodation.
This comes after north-east Brazil was described as a "hidden gem" by NuWire Investor on the strength of its strong economy and growing tourist trade.
