Brazil recommended to investors
Overseas property investors have been advised to consider investing in the Brazilian market.
The South American country was recommended as a potentially good investment location by Chris Allen of HSBC Private Bank.
Speaking to the Financial Times, Mr Allen said that a fall in interest rates in Brazil had coincided with stability in its political system.
He added that Brazil could possibly be a more lucrative market than many of its more established rivals, as they were often overvalued or offered less potential for capital growth.
Furthermore, Mr Allen said its buy-to-let sector was growing, which means that investors could benefit from strong demand for rental property.
Much of this could come from visiting holidaymakers, as the Brazilian tourism institute recently reported that the number of tourists arriving in the country has gone up this year.
Figures cited by Brazzil Mag revealed that during the last year, visitor numbers have increased by 15.2%.
