Brazil 'popular with foreign investors'
Brazil is becoming an increasingly popular investment market among buyers from across the world, according to experts.
Property consultancy Knight Frank stated that the South American country was proving to be a highly appealing location to potential buyers from both the US and Europe.
This was partly attributed to its status as an emerging market, as it was a high-growth region that was becoming increasingly accessible.
Liam Bailey, head of residential research at Knight Frank, commented: "It is a massively untapped market still and is likely to see huge growth in the future."
He also said that the planned opening of a new airport in the north of the country would improve access to Brazil, as it would be quicker to reach than the existing facility in the south.
The portal at San Gonsalvo is set to open in three years time and will be the world's fourth-largest airport.
