Brazil attracts foreign investors

Brazil is becoming more and more popular with holiday home buyers from the UK, a British media outlet has revealed.

According to the Times, many coastal resorts in the north-east of the country have become particularly sought-after by foreign buyers.

The newspaper highlighted many of its attractions, such as newly-created luxury buildings and leisure facilities including private pools and golf courses.

This suggests that many property developers are aiming to attract buyers to the top end of the local housing market.

Commenting on the region, the Times said: "The north-eastern coast of Brazil is proving attractive to investors looking for holiday property."

The publication added that many Brazilians are now enjoying greater affluence, which means growth in the property market is not solely dependent on foreign buyers.

This comes after north-east Brazil was described as a "hidden gem" by NuWire Investor on the strength of its strong economy and growing tourist trade.
