Argentina tipped to be property hotspot
Overseas property investors could find Argentina a potentially lucrative market, industry analysts have stated.
According to Foreign Property Buyer, experts believe the South American country will become the "next big hotspot" for investors.
The online portal said this is because it offers a number of attractions, such as good scenery and steady economic growth.
Indeed, the website stated that the Argentine economy is expanding steadily at a rate of about 8% a year.
The country's emerging tourism sector was also highlighted as a potential attraction, as it is boosting its buy-to-let market.
Foreign Property Buyer commented: "It means the rental market in the country is good and the potential for both rental prices and housing prices to grow substantially is strong."
The website added that the country's accessibility will also improve over the next few years, which it believes will fuel further growth in the housing market.
According to Property Secrets, there was a 43% increase in the number of transactions in emerging markets during the first quarter of 2008.
