Altinkum recommended to Turkish property investors
The Turkish destination of Altinkum has been highlighted as an ideal destination for those thinking of making an overseas property investment.
According to Didim Today, a number of Brits already own homes in the area and its popularity is set to increase.
With tourists heading to Altinkum both from abroad and from within Turkey itself, the news source noted that there is significant potential for buy-to-let investors to benefit.
"The town has three main beaches and is popular with both British and Turkish tourists, along with Germans," it stated, adding that a low cost of living and crime rate are among the main attractions.
Easy access to Bodrum was also cited as a reason to consider buying in the area, while Altinkum Yacht Marina Port is expected to add to its potential when it opens later this year.
Meanwhile, RNCOS has found that tourist arrivals in the country increased by 1.1% in the first 7 months of the year, compared to the same period in 2008.
