Airline adds extra flights to Europe
Low-cost airline easyJet has increased the number of services to some European destinations following the collapse of the XL Group.
The recent bankruptcy of the company saw the suspension of numerous flights across the globe and the prospect of some places becoming less accessible.
However, easyJet has confirmed that it is easing the blow by adding extra flights on the route between Gatwick and Las Palmas, Dalaman and Arrecife.
This is likely to be good news for those who own a rental property or holiday home in these areas, as the collapse of XL has led to concerns about how investors may be hit.
Meanwhile, SkyScanner.net has revealed that problems in the aviation sector are not putting Britons off travelling to other countries.
The online search engine said there has been a 35% increase in visitor numbers over the last year, despite the global economic downturn and airline collapses.
