Aer Arrann announces details of new budget routes to Nantes
Regional airline Aer Arrann has announced the launch of new services running between the UK and the French city of Nantes.
From April 28th 2007, Aer Arrann will start a twice-weekly service between Bristol and Nantes for £49 each way, including tax.
Additionally, a new Cardiff to Nantes route will open on June 23rd 2007 for the same price, with a flying time of under 3 hours.
Colin Lewis, head of sales and marketing at Aer Arrann, said the routes would prove popular among Britons, French and Irish people looking for both short breaks and longer-term excursions.
"We are particularly pleased to be announcing connections to Nantes, which is the sixth largest city in France and will play host to two of the Rugby World Cup matches being played by Wales in September 2007," he remarked.
The airline also noted that Nantes is a city that "boasts a rich and varied architectural and cultural heritage".
Aer Arrann also offers flights to the city from Cork and Manchester, services that launched during May 2006.
